A collaborative, community-based program that provides individual and family therapy to students’ ages 5-18 who are at risk of academic failure due to emotional and behavioral issues. The goal of Project PASS is to provide the necessary guidance needed to assist children and teens in passing their current grade level. The long- term goal is to lead students to graduation and help them become fully functioning adults within their community.Project PASS is implemented by our specialty-trained therapists at Samaritan Counseling Center who understand the importance of building a strong alliance between the family system, school system, and the community system to alleviate emotional and behavioral issues for each student. Therapists work in partnership with local schools and some services may be provided on site at participating schools, allowing more flexibility for diverse family schedules.
