Katina Saxton, LMSW

Katina Saxton received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany and her license to practice social work in New York State shortly thereafter.

Katina’s work experience includes assisting the social work department at Seton Pediatrics in providing case management and counseling services to children, and as an Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist for Northeast Career Planning where she taught and developed groups related to maintaining mental health and achieving goals in several environments.

Katina has also supervised SUNY Albany Mental Health Counseling graduate interns and Sage Occupational Therapy graduate interns. Her interests and continued research include animal assisted therapy and anxiety and mood disorders.
