Courtney Craig, LMSW
Courtney received her Bachelor of Science Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Human Development and Family Studies. She later pursued her Master of Social Work from the University of Albany and shortly thereafter she received license to practice as a Social Worker in New York State.
Courtney began her mental health career at Parson’s Child and Family Center working with children, adolescents and families in their Therapeutic Foster Care department. She then went on to work at Northeast Parent and Child Society working as a mental health therapist in their Child Guidance Center. While pursuing her Masters degree, Courtney completed year long internships in the Albany City School District and at Samaritan Counseling Center. She has also worked at multiple colleges in the area including Siena and The Sage Colleges and has volunteered with The Community Hospice of Schenectady since 2009.
At Samaritan, Courtney provides therapy for individuals, couples and families. Areas of specific interest are couple dynamics, family systems, anxiety and depressive disorders and grief and loss across the lifespan.
